As the Analyst, Tax, you will support the company’s US federal and state income tax provision and return compliance functions. You’ll work on federal and state tax returns, as well as tax estimates, provision and planning and have the chance to grow your tax knowledge and experience. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Assist with tax provision relating to US federal and state taxes
• Assist with the preparation of federal tax returns, estimates, provision and planning.
• Assist with the preparation of State income and franchise tax returns, estimates, and extensions
• Assist with process improvements pertaining to the tax return process, such as, work papers and procedures required for tax returns
• Maintain accuracy and completeness for tax general ledger accounts
• Research various state, federal, and US international tax issues as needed

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of experience in a corporate tax function, accounting firm, or other related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

It’d be great if you also have:

• Advanced degree in Accounting or Taxation
• CPA certification, or CPA exam started
• Experience with OneSource, Alteryx software
• Experience with Oracle and HFM
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
