Are you currently working as a Class 2 driver and looking for a change Do you enjoy being out and about and working as a 2-person team? Are you looking for a full working week with 48 hours, in a permanent job? We’re looking for Class 2 drivers to join us at our site, working Monday to Friday Day shift  in Chepstow.

You’ll be supporting us with one of our brand-new contracts working on the day shift. The roles are multi-drop delivering business and commercial supplies to customers at various locations.  In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive OTE rate of £37,745  plus all of our great benefits including ongoing learning with the XPO University, Pension, free uniform and great savings and benefits.

 

What you’ll do on a typical day: 

 

  • Making deliveries to commercial and residential properties and sites to a specified room
  • Delivering white goods
  • Operating a Cat C Vehicle
  • You will be a variety of different products
  • You will know your work pattern weeks in advance
  • Full manual handling training will be given

 

What you need to succeed at XPO: 

 

  • You must be physically fit as the deliveries can be a little heavy
  • Cat C Licence ( with no more than 6 penalty points or DD DR TT IN endorsement codes)
  • Previous experience would be great for this role, although full training can be given
  • You will be working at customers sites making complex deliveries so must have previous experience in customer-facing roles
