How would you like to be driving modern new vehicles, and have a truck dedicated to you and a regular route? We’re looking for full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Night Drivers to join us at our site in Dordon, near Tamworth.

You’ll be working on our prestigious night contract with Volkswagen Group, delivering high end vehicle parts to dealerships. You’ll be working on the Monday to Friday night shift, with a start time between 22:00 and 01:00. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive basic salary £32,497 plus an additional £1.75  subsistance allowance  for every hour worked with OT available at enhanced rate. . What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Making multi drops to secure locations on a nightly basis delivering car parts including Volkswagen, Audi, Man, Porsche, SEAT, Skoda and TPS
• You will be a key holder for each location and will open and close the site for each delivery.
• An element of manual handling is involved with the movement of cages and larger items, but full training is given

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement),
• You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
