We are currently recruiting for full-time a Gate House Operatives to join us at our site in Gotham. You will be working night shifts on a 4 on 4 off,12-hour shift pattern. You will be working 1900 to 0700.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £28,992.66 and an OT rate @ 1.5, based on a 42-hour week.  In addition, we offer 20 days holiday, access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• You will ensure the safety of our staff, customer, contractors and visitors to our site
• You will be the first point of contact when arriving on-site and will induct all visitors in site safety
• You will check that only authorised vehicles enter the location
• Adhering to all health and safety rules around the facilities
• Perform periodic site patrols

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• You must have strong customer service skills, you are representing XPO on a visitors first contact with the site
• Skills to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Previous experience of a similar position would be an advantage
