HR Manager

We are recruiting for a HR Manager to work alongside our Clothing & Home team at our fast-paced retail site in Bradford for our flagship customer, M&S. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to grow and lead on all HR initiatives at site we continue to grow our operation. You’ll build strong relationships throughout your network to take HR from strength to strength, working alongside the GM to become a force to be reckoned with.


Pay, benefits and more:


We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.


What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Build and drive the site HR People plan to support our overall business plan and develop our employee relations agenda
  • Proactively support and advise across the full spectrum of employee relations and employment law, including grievance, discipline, dismissal, and welfare issues
  • Facilitate harmonious employee relations with the site teams and respective Trade Union representatives (where applicable) to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation
  • Integrate HR practices, embed our values and commitments, drive the engagement agenda whilst you champion and manage people related change


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • Previous experience in a similar fast paced HR role and CIPD qualification desirable
  • If you’re from an automated retail warehouse background this would be a huge plus, although we’ll consider applicants from other fast-paced retail environments
  • A proven track record in change management and talent development
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, coaching and motivational skills
