Senior MI Analyst

Do you have a passion for data management and analysis in a fast-paced automated logistics environment? Are you a technical pro who enjoys all things data? Are you driven to lead a team of analysts to produce on time and accurate results?


We’re looking for Senior MI Analyst to join our M&S site in Bradford, supporting the site’s reporting function, to ensure we can support customer order fulfilment. We run a highly automated operation for M&S’ clothing and home products as part of our one million square foot distribution centre. You’ll predominately work Monday to Friday but, we do ask for you to be flexible on your approach as some weekend work maybe be required to meet the site and customers needs.


Pay, benefits and more:


We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.


What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Oversee operation of reporting processes, to guarantee efficiency of systems and accuracy of information across all processes
  • Support migration of the reporting suite from an Excel/Outlook model to a Power BI model
  • Coach and develop a small team of MI analysts, stepping up as a Team Manager when needed
  • Support the development of the new reporting system for E-comm


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • Strong IT skills: Excel essential; Power BI, SQL or MS Access desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar analytical role and if you’ve worked in a logistics or retail environment, even better!
  • Excellent analytical, planning & organisational skills
  • The confidence to engage with all levels of the operations teams across the site
