FP&A Analyst

 Logistics done differently.


Are you a fully qualified CIMA or ACCA Finance Analyst? Do you have experience of working to tight deadlines in a growing business? Are you all about accuracy in a fast-paced environment? 

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for an FP&A Analyst to
deliver business focused “best practice” reporting and insight to operational performance throughout the Business Unit.  You will be responsible for successfully delivering the provision of financial information including weekly costings analysis, monthly accounts preparation & regional analysis, forecasts, budgets, KPIs and balance sheet reconciliations in a time efficient and consistent manner.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Analysis of Weekly and Monthly Operational Performance within the Retail Business Unit
  • Prepare full balance sheet reconciliations in which all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis with risk and opportunities clearly identified
  • Through liaison with our Finance Managers, provide variance analysis with adequate commentary and aid operational management in the interpretation of results
  • Prepare full balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis with risk and opportunities clearly identified
  • Support Retail Finance Team when required and provide guidance & assistance on GXO's finance processes & procedures to Retail Finance team


What you need to succeed at GXO


  • Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally, open and closed book contracts – logistics experience not a requirement but would obviously be a plus
  • Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers, we’ll need you to act with a strong degree of influence
  • Knowledge of financial management systems. Experience of SAP would be advantageous
  • Full / Finalist CIMA/ACCA qualification
