Technology Quality Assurance Specialist

As the Technology Quality Assurance Specialist, you will test software programs and applications that serve our warehouse management systems and report any issues that could negatively affect normal daily reverse and/or forward logistics processes.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Identify any major problems that reduce the quality of the software application before it is released into the production environment
  • Write and execute test cases designed during release cycles and document the defects/anomalies uncovered during the test execution
  • Follow the escalation process to resolve reported issues
  • Ensure all test results are easily accessible and understandable

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 1 year of related work experience
  • To be interested in learning a specialized skill leading to a growth opportunity as a subject matter expert within test automation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college experience, including computer or logistics-related classes
  • Reverse or forward logistics experience
  • Warehouse management applications or database experience
  • Strong aptitude in both business and technology
  • Excellent documentation, communication, analysis and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment while remaining focused on quality and safety
