PMO Analyst (12 Month FTC)

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a PMO Analyst to join us at our head office in Northampton (with the opportunity for some flexible working), on a twelve-month fixed-term contract basis. As a key part of our PMO function, you’ll support important business change programmes and portfolio-related operational reporting.

What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Carry out, support and facilitate all governance activity across a variety of projects
  • Ensure the successful planning and delivery of projects through the use of effective RAID management, planning reviews and control
  • Be responsible for status and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring a consistent, accurate and effective flow of communication and data to project sponsors and senior stakeholders
  • Review the financials, getting involved in forecasting, financial reviews, spend management and the raising of purchase orders


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • A strong track record in working in P3O modelled environments with a solid understanding of programme and project management principles
  • The ability to demonstrate clear understanding of project governance and assurance and its application in a fast-paced delivery environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to work closely with and influence senior stakeholders from across the business
  • A clear penchant for identifying and challenging non-compliance
