QHSE Manager

We are looking for a full-time, permanent QHSE Manager to join us on a full time, permanent basis in Stoke.


You’ll take responsibility for all things health and safety at site and help push our road to zero campaign. We’re looking for someone to champion and promote occupational health, safety and environmental awareness throughout the site whilst always leading from the front. You’ll play an integral part of our management team – are you ready for the challenge?


You will join us on a full time, permanent basis at our M&S site in Stoke, on a Monday to Friday basis but flexibility will be required.


Pay, benefits and more:


We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £42,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Monitor on-site health and safety through the use of effective internal audits, risk assessments and regular training
  • Develop and lead the site’s health and safety strategy, consistently identifying opportunities and ideas for improvement
  • Review the site and working practices, incident trends and follow up actions from audits and incidents
  • Manage and monitor the implementation of all applicable quality, health, safety and environment policies and procedures


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) or Diploma (desirable)
  • Previous experience within an MHE environment will be a big tick from us
  • Exposure to accident investigation, including full analysis and reporting
  • The ability and confidence to influence senior stakeholders on all aspects of health and safety
