We have the opportunity for an Inventory Controller to join our team on the Nespresso contract, based out of Wellingborough. This is a permanent full-time position working a rotational shift pattern of 06:30-14:30 / 14:30-22:30, any 5 from 7.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £23,730 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Actively investigate stock discrepancies to improve and maintain stock integrity and communicate results in a timely fashion
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reporting ensuring the highest level of accuracy
  • Perform cycle counts against a schedule using Ciel-FW/FD Warehouse Management Systems
  • Complete the daily MHE safety checks and ensure that MHE is being used in accordance with training and Health & Safety legislation.  You will be required to use a Scissor Lift to complete racking cycle counts (training will be provided)
  • Continuously investigate current processes to identify improvements and cost saving initiatives

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous Inventory/Stock control experience – preferable
  • Experience of using warehouse management systems - preferably with Ciel-FW
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret data
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office application
