Shift Manager

We need you to lead a team at our white-glove operation at our high-end fashion site in Park Royal. We’re looking for a Shift Manager to continue to deliver our high standards with our high performing teams. The site is going from strength to strength and we need your support to reach our growing goals. Are you up for the challenge?

 

You will join us on a full time, permanent basis working an any 5 from 7 shift pattern.

 

Pay, benefits and more:

 

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Manage a large team of Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives on a day-to-day basis
  • Develop and maintain plans and reports, forecasting storage capacity, controlling headcount and managing performance
  • With a passion for developing others, you will lead a team of team leaders, planning staffing levels to meet operational requirements whilst providing support and guidance
  • You will exceed operational KPIs, lead continuous improvement initiatives at the site, whilst championing all things Health and Safety

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • A proven track record in managing a large team in a warehouse environment at Shift Manager level
  • The ability to act as a leader, driving best practice at all times
  • A focused and flexible approach to work
  • People focused; our people work hard, so we need you to keep them engaged and develop them wherever possible
