Then read on, because we are looking for a full-time Logistic Training Coordinator for the location of Amsterdam.

 

What are you going to do as a Logistic Training Coordinator?

As a Logistic Training coordinator, you will be responsible for providing hands on training to operational teams across the EMEA region (Ireland, Belgium, Finland, UK and The Netherlands. In this role you will be able to develop a structured understanding of operational processes to facilitate effective communication. The incumbent must be capable of working in a matrix environment, working closely with several departments to ensure successful rollout of all strategies. As a Logistic Training coordinator, you will establish a culture of compliance to standard operating procedures to fulfill internal and customer requirements, delivering world class operational performance.

 

You will provide on the floor and class room training with goal to improve the efficiency and quality of the colleagues that works in the operation. Also, you will be setting up procedures and documentation to provide an overview for yourself and the operation in relation who needs to be trained and what needs to be followed up. This also requires setting up standard working instructions and rollout introduction for new colleagues.

 

As Logistic Training Coordinator you will be working in dayshift from Monday till Friday. You will report to the Senior Program Manager on site.

 

Summary responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities

  • Function as Subject Matter Expert for Warehouse / Data Center roles to support operational teams with training and knowledge as required;
  • Single point of contact for training related matters in EMEA;
  • Integrate with global team for training roll-outs and communication to EMEA;
  • Develop training plans and matrix for operational roles and drive business excellence for sites to be up to date;
  • Establish structure that involves competency assessment to validate understanding of processes and various operational situations;
  • Review SWIs and training documentation and draft visual reference (guides) to enable ease of understanding and applicability to operational teams;

 

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessment on operational metrics and act as a communication point for highlighting issues in data
  • Support in the monitoring of quality issues and initiate RCCA and RCA investigations
  • Provide reporting metrics for training compliance and audit readiness
  • Drive process excellence by following up with sites for GEMBA walks using SBN tool
  • Support continuous improvement activities (such as Kaizen)

What makes you the ideal candidate?

  • Bachelor or College Degree, with experience as a Training Coordinator within a warehouse;
  • Operational experience in warehouse operations and knowing supply chain processes;
  • Experience in facilitating projects to drive business growth and excellence;
  • Subject Matter Expert experience for processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
  • Continuous Improvement experience with tangible results.

 

Your future work environment: 
You will work in an informal and dynamic environment with motivated colleagues. In this position, you will be reporting to the Senior Manager Program. You will have frequent contact with your business partners at other sites and staff members (HR; Safety and Security).
