XPO Logistics are looking for a Transport Supervisor for our contract in Andover with The Co-op on a full time, permanent basis. This role is offered on a 4 on 4 off days shift pattern.

 

Pay, benefits and more:

 

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £33,140.82 per annum. You'll be working the day shift on a 4 on 4 off rotation. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Manage a transport team, having overall responsibility for the drivers and office staff
  • Look at ways to control cost, including effective resource planning and agency spend
  • Constantly look at ways to improve process and excel on performance
  • Be the first point of contact for any issues, an ability to think on your feet is essential

 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

 

  • Great communication skills, you’ll be communicating with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous transport supervisory/management experience is desirable
  • Experience working with transport management systems
  • An understanding of the working time directive in order to control compliance
