Are you a Class 2 Driver looking for a full-time, permanent position? Do you like multi-drop work? Or are you simply looking for a new challenge in your career?


If you answered yes to any of those questions, read on! XPO are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join our site in Avonmouth, working on behalf of our customer, Greene King. You’ll be working 46 hours per week on a Monday to Friday shift pattern and will have access to a brand new fleet of vehicles.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,704 per annum which will be paid weekly. You’ll also receive 28 days holiday, ongoing CPC driver training, access to a variety of high street discounts including customer discount, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks including on-going CPC training.


What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Carry out deliveries on a multi-drop basis, working as part of a 2 person crew
  • Get involved in risk assessment activity for sites and delivery locations
  • Ensure the safe and legal operation of your vehicle at all times, reporting any issues when required


What you need to succeed at XPO:


  • A full UK driving licence (with category C entitlement)
  • No more than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
  • Previous experience in carrying heavy loads – dray experience would be ideal
