Are you an HR Advisor looking to progress your career with a challenging role? Would you like to come away from the status quo and learn new skills? 

We are looking for an HR Advisor initially offered on a fixed-term contract until the end of January 2020 for our ASOS site in Barnsley.  However, due to the size of the site, there will be plenty of future opportunities.  This is a full-time position working 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.

 

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum pro-rata. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • This role will give you the opportunity to be the first point of contact for any employee relations issues, using your initiative to deal with all issues effectively
  • You will be involved with all normal HR functions, this will include disciplinaries, inductions, payroll matters, recruitment and L&D coordination
  • You will provide HR support and guidance, as per legal requirements and company policy

 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • To exceed in this role you will hold a CIPD qualification or at least working towards it
  • Have strong experience of working in an HR generalist role
  • You will have the ability to communicate internally and externally at all levels whilst having the ability to demonstrate analysis, critical thinking and hold high levels of influencing and interpersonal skills
