XPO Logistics are looking for our next Payroll and HR Admin Manager for our ASOS contract in Barnsley. It is a big responsibility and a huge opportunity for someone to take charge of one of the largest single-site operations in the UK. How great is that for your CV?

 

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Using our T&A systems, you will collate all the information and transfer this into Excel spreadsheets
  • Analyse the payroll information, making and calculating deductions such as absence, holidays, SSP and SMP
  • Liaise closely with our central payroll team to ensure information is sent across accurately, efficiently and to deadline following up with any payroll queries
  • Working closely with the HR team, you will work with them and help support with HR admin and ER cases

 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • An experienced payroll professional, experience of managing a large payroll would be desirable
  • Strong Excel user – comfortable working on multiple sheets, manipulating large amounts of data, pivot tables and V-Lookups
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to act as an influencer and build solid relationships with multiple levels of stakeholder across the business
  • Previous HR administration and ER experience along with a CIPD would be desirable but is not essential
