Do you have operational management experience and an understanding of an e-commerce operation? Do you like the idea of a management role in one of the biggest single-site operations in the UK? Do you want to be a part of something bigger?

If the answer to all of those questions is yes, read on – we’re looking for our next Inventory Manager for our ASOS contract in Barnsley.


Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £48,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.


What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Head up the inbound and inventory teams, managing a dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Focus on stock integrity and customer fulfilment, reporting back to the senior team and our on-site customer  
  • Ensure that your team of 30 managers and around 250 colleagues are managed efficiently
  • Manage a large budget, ensuring that your decisions are business-minded


What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • An understanding of management in a large e-commerce operation
  • Previous experience working in a stock/inventory team (ideal) or wider operational role
  • Great communication skills – you’ll be in constant communication with multiple stakeholders daily
  • The ability to independently solve complex issues and queries
