An excellent opportunity has arisen, for a Regional QHSE Manager to join our logistics team on a full-time permanent basis covering our sites in Scotland.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £43,000 per annum plus car. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Striving to ensure compliance, legislation and corporate procedures are thoroughly met, and to ensure the delivery of QHSE training to sites is completed within strict deadlines
  • You will be required to assist sites with incident investigation and providing an advisory support function to site management and other colleagues
  • Lead and develop your team to drive the strategy and initiatives across the network, supporting the management teams
  • Roll out the health and safety strategy across your region whilst providing proactive focussed health, safety and environmental guidance and coaching to managers to drive forward a health, safety and environmental focused culture

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • To be a success in this role you will be an experienced, NEBOSH certified, QHSE Manager that can build strong lasting relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • As the role will see you travelling throughout Scotland flexibility with hours is required
  • To play a valued part you will be able to identify improvements and write policies and procedures
  • A strong health and safety background, with multi-site experience
