2nd/3rd Line Support Analyst - Manchester

We are looking to recruit an experienced 2nd/3rd Line Support Analyst with the ability to support multiple systems across the UK. You will need to have experience of working in a Microsoft based environment with excellent desktop/server troubleshooting skills of Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Microsoft Outlook and Office 2013/2016 applications. Knowledge of VMware/SQL/Office365 are advantageous but are not essential.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000 - £35,000 + Car Allowance per annum depending on experience. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Resolution of desktop and server incidents
  • Updating incidents within SNOW
  • Timely progression of all incidents and requests; escalation where appropriate and closure of incidents when users have confirmed they have received a satisfactory resolution
  • Basic troubleshooting.
  • Installation and configuration of computers, servers and peripherals
  • User account administration within Active Directory.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • The ability to configure PCs & Laptops to a standard build specification
  • Server Support experience
  • Windows 7 and 10 in an AD domain environment
  • Practical knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016
  • Basic SQL Knowledge
  • Basic VMware knowledge
