Health and safety are at the forefront of everything we do here at XPO, and we need you to keep us on track on our road to zero! Never have we seen a time where health and safety are more important, so we’re looking for a Regional Health and Safety Manager to join us to embed a real passion and message into our sites.

You will join us on a full time, permanent basis covering the North West Region of the UK. Ideally you’ll be in the Manchester area, but you’ll need to have a flexible approach to the role as you will be required to be at various sites through the week and deal with problems head on.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support multiple sites in promoting and driving an excellent health and safety culture

  • Manage and monitor the implementation of all applicable quality, health, safety and environment policies and procedures

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) or Diploma (desirable)
  • The ability to speak with all different stakeholders - you may need to have some tough conversations along the way
  • Excellent organisation skills - I’m sure you’ve read that on most adverts, but we really mean it with this role!
  • It would be a bonus if you were technically savvy, after all there will be plenty of reports to write up
