Here at XPO, we’re looking for a Regional HR Advisor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll support a number of our operations in the South West of England, working with a variety of high-profile customers, supporting on everything HR.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, plus company car or car allowance. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Provide HR guidance and support to 6 sites in the South West region on a range of people-related matters, from first line support to TUPE, redundancy and consultation processes
  • Support, coach and advise key stakeholders on all HR issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance improvement
  • Conduct regular and in-depth site HR reviews, identifying and driving any areas of improvement
  • Assist the sites in the development of our managerial colleagues in terms of their own understanding and ability to support their operations in ER cases


What you need to succeed at XPO:


  • A strong background in a similar HR position, preferably with exposure to an operational environment such as logistics, manufacturing or production
  • Excellent working knowledge of HR processes, procedures and employment law (if you have a CIPD, this would be a bonus)
  • The flexibility and ability to travel throughout the South West as well as occasionally further afield for meetings and events
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
