Salary for the role will £50,000 - £60,000, plus a performance-related bonus and a company car allowance. In addition, we offer 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

 

  • Your day-to-day job will be to support the Trade Compliance Counsel in the implementation and enhancement of international trade compliance program for the XPO Logistics
  • An important part of the role will be to identify and report to the Trade Compliance Counsel any potential violations of trade compliance regulations and implement process improvements to mitigate any risk
  • Whilst the key aspect of your role is to work on trade compliance issues, you will also support and assist with other compliance projects as required; such as compliance reviews, awareness and training on the XPO Code of Business Ethics, anti-bribery and anti-trust
  • As well as providing operational support for European business units on trade compliance issues, you will support the Trade Compliance Counsel with implementing and enhancing the corporate-level export/import compliance standards

 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

 

  • It is essential for this role that you have significant experience as a Trade Compliance Analyst, with significant knowledge of customs law – strong experience of this will make you a standout candidate for the position You must have general working knowledge and familiarity with the United Nations and European Union sanctions and how they interplay with the U.S. sanctions
  • If you can develop insightful, value-added and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of those results, you could be a great fit for our team
  • To make you stand out, you’ll have a strong aptitude for understanding and analysing large amounts of data from multiple sources – no two days will be the same
