Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a Traffic Supervisor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of £30,000 per annum plus a shift allowance of 12%. This role will be on the mid-shift and working any 5 from 7. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be managing an office and warehouse team, mainly dealing with the despatch of freight via the network trunking system
  • Oversee the debrief of returning day network drivers and closely monitor the fleet throughout the afternoon, helping to achieve the best possible KPI results
  • Ensure all legal aspects of the transport and warehousing operation are met
  • Continually Identify and coach potential team members for a succession plan while assisting with the talent plan for the site

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • The ability to think quickly and be reactive
  • Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
  • The ability to work to deadlines efficiently and effectively
