Warehouse Operative

Logistics done differently.

We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Warehouse Operative to join us at our site in Swindon. You’ll be working on our contract with Iceland Foods in a multi-temperature environment – Iceland is known for frozen foods after all!

This role is working 40 hours per week on an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern, so your working days could change each week and include weekends. Your shifts will rotate weekly between 07:00 – 15:00 and 15:00 – 23:00. 

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer the competitive hourly rate of £9.08 with an additional £2.72 per hour between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00. As well as this, you’ll receive holiday pay, access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Work in any of our three chambers – ambient, chilled and frozen
• Pick goods using a voice system and load them onto pallets and cages
• Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Willingness to work in a multi-temperature environment (this could be anything from room temperature to freezing cold)
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends
• Good levels of written and verbal English
