Here at XPO, we’re looking to bring in a Nights Traffic Desk Operator at our fuel depot in Thurrock on a full-time permanent basis. This will be working with our customer, Tesco Fuels. The site is a busy fuel depot with various customers.


Pay, benefits and more:


We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £27,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.


What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • You will effectively and efficiently coordinate our customer’s fuel deliveries to go out on the same day
  • Providing a first class service to our customer Tesco, you will work hand-in-hand to continuously improve the quality and speed of our service
  • Day-to-day, you will monitor the operational activities to ensure our contractual obligations relating to KPIs are met and exceeded
  • Help drive engagement through the teams at site by offering new ideas and implementing current best practice


What you need to succeed at XPO:


  • You must be familiar with working in a fast-paced and quick turnaround environment
  • Strong administration skills are important – you’ll be providing reports for both XPO and Tesco
  • You’ll be a quick thinker that isn’t always waiting for direction
