Counterbalance Driver

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Counterbalance Driver to join us at our site in Warrington. You will be working on a variety of our contracts in a coldstore environment, so you will need to be happy to work in a frozen warehouse (don’t worry – we’ll give you everything you need to wrap up warm).

You'll be working 40 hours per week, with flexible start times between 06:00 and 10:00, any 5 days from 7 which will include some weekends.


Pay, benefits and more:


We are looking to offer an hourly rate of £9.12, with any hours worked passed 14:00 being paid at £10.20. You will also receive holiday pay, access to a variety of high street discounts and many other perks.


What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Load cardboard bales and stacking empty pallets
  • Assist with goods in and put away
  • Ensure that all health and safety practices are followed


What you need to succeed at XPO:


  • Willingness to work in a multi-temperature environment (this could be anything from room temperature to freezing cold)
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends
  • A counterbalance and reach truck licence
