What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support multiple strategic and transformation initiatives simultaneously, working with Sales team members and groups across other business units, with a primary focus on CRM technology
  • Lead concept, define scope and execute on strategic and operational business transformation initiatives
  • Create a change management strategy and plan, which includes plans for partner identification and sponsorship management, communications, training and organizational readiness assessment; integrate content of communication, training and change activities
  • Create a change and transformation playbook/toolkit for the Global Sales Program Management organization
  • Understand the significance of the changes within the functional areas to provide information and recommendations regarding expected organization impacts
  • Conduct an initial organizational assessment to evaluate the position of the business and conduct ongoing reviews to facilitate alignment; lead and promote realistic expectations of the organization with regard to new systems and processes, e.g., capabilities, features, etc.
  • Participate in cross-functional groups to solve operational and organizational issues, and support the development of solutions, e.g., Salesforce.com
  • Develop and monitor project plans, track and follow-up on risks, and accurately report progress to keep projects/initiatives on schedule

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Technology or a related field
  • 5 years of project management experience in roles with increasing scope and responsibility
  • 3 years of experience in IT project management with formal application of project life cycle methodology
  • 2 years of organizational change management experience

It’d be great if you also have:

  • PMP/PMI certification
  • 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, change management and/or logistics/transportation
  • Experience/familiarity with global logistics and supply chain operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
