What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Understand SFDC configuration and technical features and capabilities
  • Support custom salesforce.com projects and provide ongoing support/maintenance of activities related to SFDC
  • Guide and perform independent functional analysis and solution development when appropriate and participate in special projects or task forces as requested

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training
  • 7 or more years of experience in application development
  • Salesforce.com certifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in customer settings and with internal senior management
  • Strong knowledge of industry standard frameworks, processes, application, and infrastructure methodologies, standards, and standard methodologies; knowledge of transportation, warehousing, supply chain, and logistics
  • Extensive skills in handling customer, collaborator, and partner expectations; strong skills communicating business needs to technical collaborators and in communicating and simplifying complex technical information for non-technical collaborators
  • Ability to understand and run complex technology assets and responsibly figure out need for investment, upgrade, or replacement

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Expertise in salesforce configuration and customization; expertise in SOAP and rest integrations
  • Experience in Salesforce Lightning, JavaScript, JQuery, salesforce.com development and integration using WSDL & HTTP Webservice integration
  • Ability to develop and maintain applications on the Salesforce platform
  • Extensive experience and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs and Web Services
  • Strong hands on experience in Salesforce configurations and customizations
  • Knowledge and experience with salesforce.com design patterns and development practices

 

  • Knowledge of data solutions and reporting built on salesforce.com (SFDC) Einstein Analytics (EA)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce EA Dashboards, reports, workflows
  • Unique combination of business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong and deep technical background in salesforce.com
