What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Interact with developers, quality analysts and businesses to chart and monitor progress toward product completion for each component; meet established acceptable deadlines for completion and delivery
  • Market, position, sell benefits and step beyond feature descriptions, and into the world of launch plans and rollouts
  • Engage with our direct customers, carriers and internal stakeholders at every level of the organization
  • Gather and document feedback from end users on the products and recommend improvements; participate in product documentation, release notes and training documentation
  • Lead strategic discussions and ideation sessions with business leaders to innovate beyond feature enhancements
  • Utilize your knack for building strong relationships with an amazing and diverse group of users, carriers and customers
  • Develop wireframes, mockups and user stories

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 4 years of experience designing web software products, designing and optimizing business processes, gathering business requirements, and documenting in an agile environment
  • 2 years of experience in a business architecture role
  • Proven track record of progressive experience, preferably in software development and product management
  • Experience feeding an agile development process (e.g., as the product manager/owner)

It’d be great if you also have:

  • MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in management consulting and/or as a programmer (or another technical role)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to prioritize workload and deliver results
