As the Senior Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst, you will be responsible for effectively managing the IT Services and Solutions (ITSS) project health check, facilitating the financial vendor management, contributing to project intake and portfolio management, and developing processes for timely and accurate data collection and reporting. You will put your leadership skills and years of experience to use by training and communicating with employees, balancing multiple medium-sized projects, and developing collaborative working relationships with business partners and technical experts. In this role, you have the ability to positively affect XPO’s future through advice and counsel.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Actively participate in the planning process for the ITSS portfolio
  • Assist PMO with creating dashboards to reflect project health, across schedule, cost, and scope
  • Define reporting requirements for the ITSS organization to measure performance, working with the BI team to identify data sources and collection methods
  • Engage with the vendor management process, helping to facilitate the review of SOWs, cost estimations, and invoice resolution
  • Develop and monitor project-based cost management methodology in order to accurately reflect expenditures against budget
  • Establish metrics and reporting for managing financial performance

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • 5 years of experience in financial and program management and analysis

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Master’s degree in Business or finance-related field
  • Strong strategic and operational planning skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
