Here at XPO Transport Solutions UK we are looking for a Credit Controller to join our existing team on a full time, permanent basis.  This is currently a hybrid role working from home 3 days per week and 2 days based in our office in Crick.

 

 

We’re looking to offer a salary between £25k - £30k dependant on skills and experience plus a whole host of great benefits (see below).

 

 

Reporting to the Credit Manager, your daily responsibilities will include:

 

  • Proactively chase and manage your own allocated portfolio of customers that have not provided payment within agreed terms
  • Working to monthly targets and debtor days
  • Identify and alert the Credit Manager of any potential risks that may have a financial impact on the business
  • Develop a strong relationship with internal stakeholders to ensure that any invoice queries are resolved prior to the invoice due date
  • Obtaining customer remittances to ensure correct cash allocation
  • Generate relevant paperwork for any debts going legal
  • Working to targets and debtor days
  • Monitor and maintain credit risk reports

 

What you will need to succeed at XPO:

 

  • Previous Credit Control experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and electronically
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Methodical approach to work and motivated to succeed
  • Focused on delivering objectives and deadline driven
  • Approachable and helpful personality
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of SAP and Sidetrade beneficial although training will be provided if required
