Here at XPO Logistics, we’re currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst Manager to join our team in Crick. You’ll focus and support our accounts for our central functions. You’ll also support the other finance leads across the business ensuring that we’ve got accurate budgets and forecasts. XPO in the UK is a £700millon t/o business with contracts providing transport and warehousing solutions to many household brands and businesses across the UK.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Weekly Flash, Budget & Forecast responsibilities for all XPO UK&I entities
  • Support with month-end, quarterly and year end Group reporting requirements in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), SAP and Adaptive Insights 
  • Ensure monthly actuals from SAP and other systems are correctly loaded in to HFM for Group reporting/planning purposes, correcting any issues as they arise. 
  • Oversight of UK&I P&L and KPI data - to provide analysis, support and enforce best practice across all areas of finance.
  • To support continuous improvements of financial process
  • Responsible for ‘cause and effect’ analysis – liaising with operational managers in an attempt to reduce cost
  • To support continuous improvements of financial process

 

 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

 

  • Previous experience in a senior financial role
  • Qualified / Part qualified ACCA - CIMA or equivalent 
  • Demonstrable experience in Adaptive Insights, Hyperion Financial Management and SAP – Preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A good understanding of financial reporting processes and requirements
  • Ability to create visually appealing reports, charts, graphs and dashboards
  • A creative problem solver and proactive individual with the ability to effectively manage various systems issues while adhering to deadlines
