Solutions Design Manager

Here at XPO Logistics, we’re currently recruiting for a Transport Solution Design Manager to join our growing team.  As part of our continued expansion and development, we are expanding our Transport Solutions team and are looking for the next superstar in this arena. Working across all areas of the business, this is an opportunity to join our established team and be part of our next exciting phase of development.

We’re offering a competitive salary based on experience and your future potential as well as a company bonus scheme. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. The role is Monday to Friday, with flexible, hybrid working, so please don’t feel you have to live on our doorstep, we can consider applicants from further afield and there is a company car or an allowance with the role after all! What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Be part of the team shaping and designing solutions that will deliver future success with transport opportunities.
• Work alongside our strategic development team to understand the needs and requirements of new potential customers.
• Design and develop transport solutions for shared user, 4PL and dedicated operations. You’ll be involved from understanding the data through to providing fully costed solutions.
• Get involved in optimisation projects for our existing customers and propose new and improved ways of working.
• Use your initiative, ideas and know how to make a real difference and impact.
• Be a key part of the team that wins and delivers new projects for XPO.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• You’ll have experience of working within solution design, however, we are prepared to consider someone looking for the next step up.
• You’ll enjoy working autonomously, but as part of team.
• Experience of data analysis and identifying exciting and innovative solutions.
• Experience of liaising with customers, both face to face and remotely.
• Previous experience of Paragon or other similar routing software would be advantageous.
