Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about logistics? We’re looking for a proactive Load Bay Planner to join our fast-paced team and help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll do on a typical day: 

 

  • Maintain a high level of system housekeeping and work efficiently to agreed timescales.
  • Allocate trailers and manage bay loading and offloading schedules.
  • Accurately enter data into the in-house computer system.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via telephone and email.
  • Manage goods in transit paperwork and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Support Shift Managers and the Site Manager as required.
  • Provide clear and concise daily handover reports.
  • Manage subcontractor drivers and liaise with external hauliers.
  • Prepare all necessary paperwork for both internal and external transport partners.
  • Deliver excellent service to all internal and external customers.
  • Carry out general office duties and support colleagues during absences.
  • Plan MOTs for trailers and ensure compliance with schedules.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including dress code, performance standards, and health & safety.

  • Proficiency in using logistics or warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
