We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Continuous Improvement Manager to join the XPO team at the Saint-Gobain UK Logistics Hub near Nottingham on a full-time, permanent basis. This position plays a crucial role in driving Saint-Gobain’s operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives while providing essential support to project management activities.

The role will report directly to the XPO Account Director for Saint-Gobain UK operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the CI project pipeline for Saint-Gobain UK transport and logistics DC operations (which can entail upto 25 simultaneous projects at any time).
- Lead and facilitate operational Continuous Improvement projects to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste in our transport network or DC operations across the UK for Saint-Gobain.
- Analyse current operational workflows and identify areas for improvement using Lean Six Sigma (or similar) methodologies.
- Conduct process mapping exercises to visualise current workflows and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation.
- Collaborate in the development and testing of IT system upgrades and new system implementations.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Held a role as a senior Project Manager or Continuous Improvement Manager.
- Proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Prince2, with relevant certifications.
- A proven track record in project management and the delivery of multiple key projects (simultaneously).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
