We're offering a salary of up to £31,275 per annum. Additionally, we provide 20 days of holiday (plus bank holidays), with the option to purchase additional days. You'll enjoy various high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, and numerous other perks.

 

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Day-to-day, you will be part of a team and will arrange an array of import and export clearances for key clients, processing promptly to ensure top-notch service.
  • A significant aspect of your role involves transferring data from various sources in our customers' documentation to our operating systems - accuracy and speed are paramount.
  • You will be responsible for submitting documentation to HMRC, monitoring progress, and resolving any queries through communication with our customers or internal XPO management.
  • Each day, you will engage with different stakeholders/customers, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and handling various streams of information from different sources.

 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • Previous experience working for a freight forwarder, with a focus on Customs - imports/exports is preferred. However, we're open to candidates with strong and efficient administration skills who are eager to learn.
  • Knowledge of transport and commercial documentation and compliance would be advantageous, as your daily tasks will revolve around this.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and confidence on the phone, coupled with effective written and verbal communication abilities, are crucial for success in this role.
