You’ll work the day shift, from 0600 to 1800, on a ‘4-on, 4-off’ shift pattern.

 

Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a talented Traffic Operative to join us on a full-time, permanent basis for our Ikea contract based in Medway until May 2023. We will then be moving to our brand-new state of the art depot in Dartford, DA1 5PZ, which all our colleagues will be based at.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

 

• Vehicle Tracking.

• Working within site KPI’s in line customer SLA.

• Investigation all system and stock issues.

• Printing labels.

• Printing Consignment notes and driver manifests.

• Liaising with customers.

• Monitoring crew progress throughout the day.

• Assisting Supervisor in morning role out.

• Assign Jobs to EPOD – 100% or escalate to Supervisor.

• Debriefing crews at end of day and ensuring EPODs have been updated correctly.

• Locating and scanning PODs as requested.

• Daily calls to customers to confirm delivery schedules for early delivery and Sac deliveries.

• Keeping IKEA updated on late routes, delays etc.

• Communicating daily with delivery crews to ensure precision is met.

• Keeping workflows up to date.

• Create and maintain a culture where Health and Safety is priority.

• Ensure Workplace Organisation standards are adhered to at all times.
