What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Inspect product, that is being processed as finished product
  • Scan finished product with a RF Scanner to the correct assigned pallet bases on the outer label
  • Build pallets with larger products (Heavy weight) on the bottom as the base and smaller products (Lighter weight) on top.
  • Build pallets with all the labels facing outbound and without any part of the product extending outside of the pallet’s frame and no higher than 7 feet tall.
  • Close out a pallet with a RF Scanner with the correct amount that is scanned to the pallet.
  • Pull a full pallet from the line to the wall with a Pallet Jack.
  • Communicate any problems with a pallet to the Leadership Team 

To succeed at XPO, it’d be great if you have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of relevant work experience in a quality control environment
  • Strong documentation skills related to quality
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed

This job requires the ability to: 

  • Lift 30 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Move materials placed on wheeled carts weighing up to 500 lbs.
  • Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights 
  • Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull 
  • Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time 
  • Handle or manage tools or equipment 
  • Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments 
  • Possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
