Workshop Technician Sheffield

Are you an experienced Workshop Technician, ideally with experience from the white goods and washing machine industry? We’re looking to offer a salary of £26,000. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day: 

• Modifications to new machines including fitting ozone injection systems, changing electrical phasing, fitting soap injection, converting to coin-op or card reader machines, fitting SAFE systems, rebranding machines
• Reprogramming onboard computer with a tablet
• Refurbing used machines
• Other daily workshop duties
• Picking required parts
• Full training will be provided on the maintenance and repair of all products you are working on, however, an ability to problem-solve will be needed

What you need to succeed at XPO: 

• Having previous workshop experience is necessary for this role
• Ideally, you will come from a white goods environment, however other industries such as vending machines or similar will be considered 
• You must be a technical problem solver, able to fix both mechanical and electrical issues
