Transport Coordinator

Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a talented Transport Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis on our night shift, working Monday to Friday, This is for our XPO shared user network based at the Regional Hub in Leigh.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,960 (inclusive of 25% shift allowance). We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Co-ordinate the transport operations on & off site to meet both customer and XPO business expectations
• Work as part of the XPO night team to achieve all daily operational targets
• Work with export customs systems to ensure customer freight is loaded and shipped nightly to Northern Ireland
• Play a key role in ensuring our through the night XPO network trunking service enables next day delivery all across the UK
• Ensure that all drivers are compliant transport legislation/working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• A good understating of fast-paced transport teams
• Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
• Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
