As IT Product Manager you are passionate about users and experienced in cultivating technology and mobile experiences for customers. You play a strategic role within our incredible Product Organization, helping to identify strategic initiatives that drive value for our customers and partners, and help us build, market and roll out comprehensive solutions. Leverage your passion and experience in defining solutions that will grow our business. Bring along your incredible knack for building strong relationships with an amazing and diverse group of users, carriers and customers who need more than just a feature.

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Lead strategic discussions and ideation sessions with Business Leaders to form and cultivate productive, trusting relationships.
  • Cultivate product positioning and benefit statements, partnering with marketing team to create collateral that creates excitement and makes it easy for them to adopt, evangelize and understand the benefits. Be prepared to share some of the work you’ve done.
  • Define a thoughtful, detailed and executable rollout strategy for new features, releases and products.
  • You can think strategically, but you are also a doer. Able to get into the details to write a Business Case, perform ROI and prioritize and write user stories, while also partnering with development to break things down and plan them into releases.
  • Focus on building value for our business, not just features. Develop innovative and unique product offerings by leveraging knowledge of the key market challenges that already exist in competitor products.
  • Become the lead evangelist and authority on XPO’s solutions for features, benefits, value proposition and key market differentiators.
  • Must have experience gathering and compiling competitive and market research, and leveraging it to drive product strategy.
  • Possess the ability to work through challenging and dynamic conditions, while holding self and others accountable.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making, while also developing key stakeholder relationships in various locations that promote the Product Team’s credibility and image within the stakeholder community.
  • Foster ardent curiosity to learn about the supply chain industry and have significant direct engagements with business stakeholders to acquire a deep understanding of their processes.

 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • A degree in Business, Marketing or Logistics
  • 6+ years of experience in a mid to senior level product role, presenting to and leading meetings with executives and being their “go to” resource for all things technology innovation
  • Deep understanding of underlying technologies, including technical experience with APIs, Web apps, and Mobile Apps
  • Supply chain experience will get you huge bonus points
  • 3+ years of experience leading technology related product marketing activities, product positioning and partnering with graphics and marketing team to create videos and collateral
  • Proven experience driving innovation, influencing stakeholders and driving a product roadmap.
  • 2+ years as the owner of in-depth competitive analysis
  • Works effectively under stressful or ambiguous conditions by adapting style, approach and work procedures
  • Experience feeding an Agile development process and managing feature backlog
  • Self-starter with the ability to influence and motivate others while also maintaining a positive outlook
