To further strengthen our European Talent Acquisition organization,  we  now have an exciting  new role in the team: the responsibility to build and manage early careers recruitment in France  (80%) and Europe (20%) .   In this role you will support all end to end recruitment activity (attracting, selecting, on-boarding) to ensure that recruitment & resourcing is in line with business requirements, ensuring a positive candidate experience.    

 

Each year, we hire graduates on permanent contracts and over 2 years , we develop their skills through role rotations, with the goal of moving them quickly toward management roles. In addition to recruiting for our Graduate Programs in Europe, you will also support with the development of our early careers recruitment strategy in 2019

 

The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys recruitment  –  quickly sourcing brilliant candidates, selling our opportunity, and filling positions  and comfortable delivering against high volume targets, during short periods of time.   Additionally you will need to have great organisational skills – balancing your sourcing with arranging assessment days, attending careers fairs and events, engaging those under offer, ensuring all recruitment activity is tracked to ensure accurate weekly reporting back to our business stakeholders.

 

The role is based in our Neuilly office.

 

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • You'll have full ownership of our for new  graduate and early career recruitment, working closely with Talent Management, Learning & Development as well as your colleagues to  validate demands, agree on assessment approach &  appropriate delivery channels
  • Develop relevant channels for each requirement such as, internal database searches, talent pools, university campus events and job boards,  digital job fairs and job boards , CV database searches, Linked In campaigns, social channels  
  • Working closely with the Talent Management team to ensure a hand in glove balance between sourcing internal and external talent, whilst ensuring business need is met
  • Conducting pre-screening interviews, collating and sharing interview feedback and utilizing this information in management of the offer approval proces
  •  Looking at ways to continually promote XPO’s employer brand, improve the candidate and hiring manager experience and deliver talent on time and to budget                          

 

What you need to succeed at XPO:

 

  Some previous recruitment experience gained in agency , in-house or via a complex RPO solution at volume. Previous graduate recruiters will be valued, including working in a target orientated and international environment with a focus on recruitment

 

A thorough understanding of what a good recruitment process and candidate experience looks like.  Exceptional project management skills including the ability to juggle conflicting priorities and working to tight deadlines

 

Exceptional interpersonal skills – able to understand what concerns graduates looking for the next step in their career
