Operations Officer CI & Business Excellence

As European Operations Officer , CI & Business Excellence,  you will be responsible for managing all hands-on operational aspects, assisting our Divisional Operations Director Europe in the aggressive and successful growth of the company through leadership, sales, customer service, and daily operations.

 

Responsibilities includes some of the following 

  • In full liaison with Country Managers, CSO, CIO and associated local operational teams leading SC European turn arounds and business improvements  (existing business + step change developments). Specifically for site recovery – reactive issue identification (root cause analysis) covering top and bottom line and all contributory causes, irrespective of business function ie to include IT, HR and Sales/Commercial.
  • For site recovery – reactive issue identification (root cause analysis) covering top and bottom line and all contributory causes
  • Champion and leader of a proactive CI programme across all operations: to devise a strategy, align with “in country” resource and execute.
  • Devising and leading recovery plans in conjunction with local on-site teams, local country management as well as Central Divisional colleagues (as required)
  • Supporting with external commercial discussions as needed
  • For business improvement – proactive identification of improvement opportunities covering top and bottom line and all contributory opportunities, irrespective of business function ie to include IT, HR and Sales/Commercial.
  • Maintaining a leadership presence post direct intervention to ensure recovery or in the case of business improvement, successful execution of development opportunities.
  • Management of governance
  • Management of implementation execution
  • Management input up to achieving operational assumptions/budget expectations including as required post win commercial review and discussions with customers
