On our team, you’ll have the support to excel at work, and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.  As the Senior Analyst, Revenue, you will be responsible for overseeing and analyzing revenue and working with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Analyze and calculate revenue accruals during the month-end close
  • Complete ad hoc reporting to support multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment, balancing their needs and perspectives to maximize the company’s interests
  • Perform and ensure key controls are operating effectively in the OTC process
  • Calculate commissions and ensure the payment complies with company policy
  • Perform and review reconciliations for key accounts, including deferred revenue, unbilled accounts receivable and unearned revenue
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to drive process improvements
  • Develop meaningful KPIs that track progress toward continuous improvement
  • Review new customer contracts to determine revenue recognition and lease accounting treatment

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in building financial models to drive profitable growth   
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience creating complex formulas and models in Excel with large amounts of data in various formats 

It’d be great if you also have:

  • 5 years of related experience, including public accounting experience
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle), Oracle Projects, Microsoft BI, BlackLine and related technologies 
  • Capacity to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
  • Experience multitasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated work style to work well with minimal supervision in a team environment
  • Exceptional communication skills; experience presenting clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
  • Strong aptitude for developing insightful, value-added and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of the results, including producing unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations of data
  • Experience utilizing a variety of interpersonal styles and communication methods to effectively adapt to new work structures, processes or cultures
