Working as a Bid Manager/Proposal Manager at GXO Logistics - Eindhoven

Because one of our Bid Coordinators will make an internal step we are looking for a replacement! In this role you are based at our HQ in Eindhoven and report directly to the Sales Director BeNeGe.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with business stakeholders, business development managers and engineers to identify, refine, and document detailed business needs and proposals during the Sales Process
  • Translates sales requirements and understands internal needs to help frame a solution that meets all expectations of the customer’s requirements as set out in their RFI / RFQ
  • Develop sales initiatives and strategies aligned with the company's differentiated value proposition and full scope of services
  • Responsible for encouraging success in sales initiatives and sharing best practices for all “focus” accounts within the BeNeGe region
  • Responsible to provide timely and accurate reporting including sales forecasts, department metrics, performance insights and market tends; mostly centered around the GXO CRM Tool
  • Participate in sales meetings, operational based meetings, customer site visits and industry based meetings; where appropriate, engage in public speaking events
  • Supports new business opportunities both organic and acquired

What makes you the ideal Bid Manager:

  • Bachelor Degree and 3+ years of Sales, Bid- or Proposal management experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in at least English
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with a CRM system – Salesforce is a big plus
  • Self-disciplined to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Self-driven and resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment
  • Committed to delivering high quality work and proposals, and have a professional critical attitude
  • Ability to monitor and uphold high quality of service to clients (internal and external)
  • Strong conviction in your communication and output to others
