Working as a Payroll Officer at GXO Logistics - Eindhoven?

As Payroll Officer, together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the payroll administration for all GXO employees (a total of approximately 2,000 employees). You collect and process the necessary data in the system. In addition, you are the point of contact for questions about salary-related topics and related laws and regulations.


What you do on a typical day as a Payroll Officer:


  • Collecting salary changes, checking, and processing the changes
  • Act as a first-line information point for employees with questions about salary
  • Point of contact for internal and external contacts
  • Checking pension data and providing data for the correct processing of mutations
  • Supplying and checking data of various organisations (including UWV, Belastingdienst and Pensioenverzekeraar)
  • Providing reports
  • Keeping track of developments in wage legislation and the correct application of the changes


What do you own as a Payroll Officer?


  • Minimum bachelor’s degree – in associated field i.e., Payroll, HR or Business discipline
  • At least 2 years of work experience in the field of salary processing
  • Up-to-date knowledge in the field of tax laws and regulations including social insurance, payroll tax, pension, and other working conditions
  • Knowledge of and experience with Excel
  • You are a team player, but you are also well able to work independently
  • You have a proactive attitude and are customer-oriented
  • Mastery of the Dutch and English language in words and writings
