Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Operations

As the Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Operations, you will serve as a senior member of our invoicing team.  You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders at all levels on complex problems, ensuring accuracy and completion of financial data and helping drive efficiencies and evolving processes. The drive to revenue starts with invoicing and this is a highly visual and impactful role throughout the greater organization.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Consolidate, track, trend and report on operational data derived from multiple data points
  • Create reports and other presentations as needed for senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Provide tools for operations and process managers to detect problem areas in real time; take timely action when problems occur
  • Develop tools, reports, techniques and/or assist in implementing reporting systems for operations support, including ensuring consistent reporting, standardized formatting, professional presentations, updated processes and the documentation of issues
  • Review and create subsequent reporting and process enhancements
  • Interpret contract and pricing models for all invoicing types; translate contractual parameters and pricing models into invoice setups for new operations
  • Create accurate work instructions for new operations; write departmental and/or interdepartmental invoice processes
  • Create new invoice templates in accordance with contractual agreements and pricing models
  • Review POET coding and task numbers via Oracle Projects to ensure appropriate invoices
  • Provide and ensure revenue is accrued appropriately and timely
  • Run project reports and categorize startup expenses according to contract and pricing model
  • Execute all levels of requests; present results using effective visual presentations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Statistics, or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of experience in financial analysis or planning 
  • Experience working with databases and writing queries (using either SQL or Access) 
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL

It’d be great if you also have:

  • MBA
  • APICS and or CSCMP certification
  • Experience designing dashboard-style reports
  • Familiarity with supply chain/logistics operations management concepts 
  • Solid research skills
  • Ability to work with IT to problem solve system issues
