Senior Manager, Systems (CRM)

This role will support the recently announced GXO part of the organization, which represents the intended spinoff of our global contract logistics business.  GXO stands for ‘Game Changing Opportunities’; with ~100,000 people comprising GXO’s global team, we are on a journey toward a new era, together. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, executives, subject matter experts, and vendors to maximize the use and advantages of the platform capabilities.
  • Develop Salesforce CRM platform strategy, architecture and development roadmap, ensuring alignment with key business and technology stakeholders
  • Manage Salesforce releases and functionality, making suggestions to improve existing processes and implement new solutions
  • Oversee Salesforce platform roadmap and strategy, including feature selection, new release evaluation, AppExchange partner applications, SFDC governance practices, migration controls, development standards, strategy, resource management tools, coordination with Enterprise Architecture and financial planning
  • Oversee development team including project solutions and implementation, cross-area project coordination, task assignments, configuration/support activity and issue resolution
  • Oversee the assessment of customer requirements, project viability, estimation of new work effort, solution development, and presentations as needed

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 or more years of experience supporting CRM systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Experience working across the full Salesforce project lifecycle from analysis, design, testing to implementation
  • Demonstrable experience supporting and maintaining CRM applications i.e. SalesCloud, Service Cloud
  • Experience with Lighting Aura components & Lighting web components. 
  • Integration experience using both Web based technologies (Soap, Rest),
  • Team leadership/management experience
  • Salesforce Developer Certifications: Platform Developer I and II and Platform App Builder
