Customer Service Manager - 1st Shift

1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Monitoring execution of all process steps and taking necessary corrective actions
  • Communication with primary customers to obtain feedback and grow the business
  • Reviewing financial reports for root causes of variances and resolution
  • Training and Coaching Staff
  • Ensuring processes, procedures, documentation, and training is in place for new business
  • Participating in various continuous improvement activities beyond their team

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 4 years of experience in customer service
  • 2 years of experience in a warehousing or distribution center environment
  • Knowledge of warehouse and transportation operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Availability to travel up to 25% of the time to various sites in the area
  • 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience
  • Experience with EDI and TMW software
  • Knowledge of transportation operations and driver management
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
